H2H Geoscience Engineering is pleased to announce a new contract award with Indian Health Services, providing surveying, construction inspection and engineering technician support services at IHS locations throughout New York and Virginia.
H2H has performed similar work for IHS at locations across New York and Maine since 2017. The team conducts geo-referenced surveying services for proposed onsite community water and wastewater systems, and provides a range of engineering technician services, including developing preliminary layouts of individual water and wastewater facilities, conducting soil surveys, and drafting construction plans, details, record drawings, composite system drawings, and right-of-way maps using IHS drafting standards.
The new contract is a continuation of this work, with the addition of performing inspection services on sanitation facilities construction projects. H2H’s construction management team will deliver notes, photos, record quantities, and measurements, and coordinate with IHS’s Construction Representative and Engineer to ensure all work is performed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
For this contract H2H is teaming with Delta Engineers Architects & Land Surveyors, PC (Delta) an engineering, surveying, and construction management firm with offices in central New York and Richmond, Virginia.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to continue our work with Indian Health Services,” said H2H Principal Richard Hisert, PG, PhD. “The skills encompassed by our team of engineers, scientists, and construction managers and our partners at Delta Engineers, make us an ideal fit for this contract.”
